About the game

The game was created by Ukrainian tech specialists from IT Army so that each “move” of a player brings Russian websites closer to being blocked. It is an analog of the famous 2048 game — a numerical puzzle which requires you to merge the same numbers to reach higher scores. It has simple mechanics and is available for common users with no special skills to combat Russian aggression.

How it works

Play For Ukraine generates constant torrent traffic to knock a target websites offline. It is basically a DDoS tool, which doesn’t require any other action except playing it. One player can send about 20,000 requests in one hour of idle playing. The website is approved by the Cyber Police of Ukraine and is completely safe to use, especially when using VPN services.

How to help to block Russian online resources

  • Use VPN if you play from Ukraine. For players from other countries, VPN is optional.
  • Just open playforukraine.life and let it be open on your devices. It will flood the websites and pose a huge load on their infrastructure.
  • The number of attacks is much higher when you use the desktop. The more moves – the lower the Russian army falls.

Musk vs Putin

About the game

A team of volunteer Ukrainian game developers has written a Street Fighter-style browser game where Elon Musk’s character fight against Russian officials —Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The game development began after Elon Musk tweeted about Ukraine, argued with Rogozin (the director of Roskosmos) and Kadyrov, and challenged Putin to single combat.

How it works

This browser-based game is available at the link. It has very simple controls (separate buttons for kicking, punching, and moving), and the goal is to control Musk and give kicks first to Kadyrov, then to Putin. At the end of the game, you can donate to a charitable foundation Palianytsia. The fund has already raised over $1.9 million for humanitarian and military support of Ukraine.

Ukrainian fArmy

About the game

A team of Ukrainian game developers has taken the meme about the legendary Farmer Corps of Ukraine to a whole new level. In Ukrainian fArmy, you play as a tractor driver, trying to capture as many Russian tanks, trucks, and APCs as fast as you can. It is currently a work in progress, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with plans for mobile devices.

How it works

The game is available for free. Alternatively, you can purchase it via the “name your own price” model. Also, the Ukrainian fArmy website calls for donations to the trusted long-standing volunteer organization Come Back Alive. Furthermore, it provides the link to the Official humanitarian donations account of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

About the game

It’s a browser game created by Ukrainian developers to raise awareness for the humanitarian aid Ukrainians need right now. Here, the player tries to collect medicine, helmets, and body armor but also needs to avoid the enemy’s tanks, rockets, and planes. The goal is to reach the highest score of “Goods” collected to earn your place on the leaderboard.

How it works

After playing the game, the player is offered to donate to the foundations Come Back Alive and KOLO. These organizations supply the Ukrainian Army with drones, thermal imagers, bulletproof vests, and other equipment for the hotspots in Ukraine.
