The Bucharest-based deeptech startup OxidOS has raised €1.2 million in a seed funding led by Early Game Ventures, Romania Insider informs.
- OxidOS was founded in 2022 by Alexandru Radovici, Bogdan Genis, Vlad Rădulescu, Ioana Culic, and Daniel Rosner. OxidOS develops secure operating system and tools that enable automotive component integrators and OEM software companies to faster develop software for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), reduce certification time and security issues.
“We are in a moment when the entire automotive industry is going through a paradigm shift. We want not only to be part of this revolution, but to make a serious contribution to it. OxidOS will reduce the time needed to develop software for car components to half and will massively address the security problems encountered by car manufacturers,”

- The fresh round was led by Early Game Ventures, a Bucharest-based early stage VC fund, investing in startups that jumpstart new industries in the emerging markets of Europe. The renowned business angels also joined the round.
- The fresh funding will let OxidOS to further develop an operating system and devtools for the automotive industry.
