The Polish startup Bubaa that develops a marketplace for parents has received its first funding amounted at €200,000 (1 million PLN). The investment came from Poland-based Impera Alfa fund, MamStartup reports.

  • Launched in October 2021, Bubaa develops the app for parents, where they can sell and buy clothes, toys and other different items for kids, as well as find educational and care services for them.
  • The backer Impera Alfa is a Polish venture capital investment company that were established to realize, along with The National Centre for Research and Development, joint projects under the BRIdge Alfa program. The fund focuses on young companies, with the main part of their R&D needs to be conducted in Poland.
  • Bubaa will spend the fresh funding on the R&D processes. It is also planning to launch an AI-based virtual assistant for parents that will help to choose suitable and relevant items and services on the marketplace.
