The Ukrainian fund Digital Future has changed its managing partner. The fund’s founder Oleksiy Vitchenko left his seat and Dmytro Bilash took the position. AIN.Capital‘s editorial office briefly tells about the rearrangement.
- Dmytro Bilash is the co-founder of the Captain Growth startup. It is an AI-based product capable of analysing ads and managing the marketing activities of clients. In 2019, Perion bought the startup for $3.75 million. After leaving the project, Bilash also engaged in angel investments.
- Oleksiy Vitchenko will now undertake his own projects. Generally, this directly led to the change of the managing partner. In particular, the project Calmerry, which launched recently.
- According to Vitchenko, Digital Future has resumed active search and evaluation of startups and is ready for new investments. This is the main purpose of welcoming Dmytro to the team. In recent months, the fund had no investments, nor exits, but now it is ready to go back to work.
- The fund is looking for Ukrainian founders and teams with global ambitions. It is important that these project could scale to the US and EU markets. The main focus are the companies operating in global markets, with validated business models and innovations that “make their product unique.”
- The fund mainly invests during seed and Series A rounds.
Since its launch in 2014, the fund has 31 portfolio companies and 7 exits, Its average ticket size varies from $50,000 to $350,000. Investments include: BeLive, Let’s Enhance, Petcube, PromoRepublic, Reply.io, Salo, Serpstat, SignaLayer, Softcube, SplitMetrics, as well as YouAppi, YouTeam, etc. Exits: Mobify (Jeapie), Friendlydata, Coureon, Preply, Attendify, SOC Prime, and Rallyware.
