The Prague-based fintech startup Digitoo has received €1.1 million for its further development. The investment was co-led by Nation 1 and Kaya, investment platform Crowdberry also participated.

  • Founded in 2019 by Karin Fuentesova, Digitoo develops AI-based platform that aims to free accountants of the manual and repetitive work, as document exchange, and data capture. It helps to focus on more creative projects that have a business impact.
  • Currently, around 650 companies use Digitoo’s services, among them are Raiffeisenbank, Deloitte, Footshop and Soulmio.
  • The fresh round was co-led by two Czech venture capital firms Nation 1 and Kaya that are among Top 17 the most active Czech funds from AIN.Capital. Nation 1 focuses on investing in seed-stage fintech, insurancetech, AI, ecommerce and travel startups, Kaya is an early-stage VC fund with roots in CEE, investing in intrepid founders across Europe. The Czech-Slovak investment platform Crowdberry also joined the round.
