MamStartup media together with PFR Ventures have prepared the second edition of KREATORZY ranking, where the authors have selected companies, VCs, events, and people that had a significant impact and shaped the Polish startup scene in 2022.
The ranking consists of 13 categories, in particular:
- Good neighbor that includes VC funds that invest in the Polish tech ecosystem actively. In 2022, Credo Ventures, Eat Acar, Kaya VC, and VentureFriends were nominated.
- Global success category is about Polish startups and VCs that raised large investment rounds and managed to scale worldwide successfully. Nomadic, OTB Ventures, Ramp, Talkin’ Things, Tidio, and Zowie are among them.
- Event of the year includes three most significant events from the Polish market that captures the attention of the whole CEE region. Particularly, Polish-Finnish space-tech startup ICEYE closed a $136 million Series D funding round and provided access to its satellites for Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This year, KREATORZY ranking also includes Ukrainian startups category and AIN.Capital was invited to nominate the most interesting projects that are operating in Poland. We have chosen companies that have entered the Polish market or launched new products there since the start of the full-scale war and already achieved visible results:
- Knopka develops an loT/SaaS solution for hospitals, which ensures that medical assistance is provided within 3 minutes.
- Liki24 is a platform for searching, comparing prices, and quick or scheduled delivery of drugs, which operates in Ukraine, Romania, and Poland.
- Mate Academy is an edtech startup that teaches programming for free until students get a job offer.
- Mathema is an online math school for students of all grades.
- Mindly connects clients with licensed therapists through a comprehensive mental health platform for online therapy.
- 3DLOOK develops AI-first mobile body scanning solutions, enabling brands to virtually replace the entire in-store fitting room experience.
