Warsaw-based startup SmartyMeet has raised €210,000 (PLN 1 million) in a pre-seed financing round to develop videobot technology called Boe. The LT Capital fund and Amazon Web Services Portfolio provided the funding, My Company Polska reports.
- Founded in 2022 by Sławomir Kroczak, Monika Wyszyńska, and Rafał Fic, SmartyMeet develops an AI-based assistant that can be used in online meetings. Thanks to AI models from the OpenAI portfolio or ChatGPT and Whisper, it increases efficiency and provides new opportunities for conducting sales or advisory e-meetings.
- The Boe videobot can translate the meeting in real time, find the necessary information in knowledge bases. It can also provide an analysis of positive or negative moods during the conversation and generate post-meeting notes.
“Progressing digitization and the practical application of artificial intelligence are changing the world we live in. Our mission is to support change leaders, and SmartyMeet is undoubtedly one of the game-changers. We recognized the huge global market potential of the Boe videobot and the competence of the experienced team of founders. We are convinced that together we will achieve success,”
Łukasz Świercz, Managing Partner of LT Capital, comments.
- The LT Capital fund is one of the major investors for SmartyMeet. It is an investor recognizable on the European market, which supports selected companies mainly in the following sectors: artificial intelligence, big data, robots and drones, cybersecurity, and AR/VR. Amazon Web Services Portfolio also joined in the round.
- Thanks to the fresh capital, SmartyMeet will be viable for international expansion, specifically to the British market. The startup is also planning to announce another investment round soon to boost growth again.
