The Vilnius-based Three Cubes, game-based learning subscription platform for schools and parents, has raised €250,000 from Lithuanian acceleratorі FIRSTPICK and other investors. The deal was closed at the beginning of 2023.
- Founded in 2017 by Darius Kniuksta and Tadas Bielskis, Three Cubes provides a digital learning platform for gaining a quality education. The platform is based on Minecraft: Education Edition as a virtual place to create and provide educational content. All the lessons can be translated into different languages and used worldwide.
- Now the startup works in Baltic countries, UK, and US. Since launching, the startup partnered with 300 schools and involved more than 30,000 students, and over 200 organizations have used it.
- The fresh investment was led by FIRSTPICK, an accelerator and venture capital fund investing in tech companies across the Baltics. It was launched in 2022 by Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys.
- Three Cubes plans to spend the investment for expansion to other countries and creating better user experience with game-based learning.
