- According to CNBC, it is about 1,200 people, or almost 30% of its 4,000 employees.
- Lyft has already laid off about 700 people in 2022. The recent wave of layoffs is necessary to stabilize the company’s financial situation.
- The cuts also affected Lyft’s office in Ukraine. According to DOU, the company plans to lay off up to 40 people, the whole team in Ukraine has about 200 employees.
We will remind, Lyft opened an office in Ukraine and started recruiting the team back in 2021. The Lyft service does not work in Ukraine, and its launch was not planned here.
