The Riga-based startup Swotzy, that provides delivery options for e-commerce, has raised €90,000 led by Lithuanian VC fund FIRSTPICK. This is the first investment for Swotzy.
- Founded in 2022, Swotzy provides a shipping tool to help e-commerce merchants to optimize their last mile operations. The startup claims that it brings together courier-post services, which helps to use them without signing contracts, integrating, or solving any other challenges in establishing a new partnership.
“We are a platform that consolidates postal players in one place. We allow our customers to compare carriers and choose the best fit for their shipments. Our customers don’t need to sign contracts with postal carriers; they don’t need to integrate and overcome all the technical struggles. They can simply log in and start using our product. Additionally, we support our customers with detailed data about their shipments and provide continuous improvements to make them more efficient,”
Lauris Rutkis, co-founder and CEO of Swotzy says.
- The fresh investment was led by FIRSTPICK, an early stage venture capital fund focused on the Baltic tech founders. The company has already invested in over 50 startups, among them is €250,000 round for Lithuanian game-based edtech Three Cubes.
- Swotzy plans to use the funding to launch its platform in April 2023, to take the business on higher grounds, and also to expand its dev team.
