Brno-based startup Localazy has announced fresh €1 million funding from JIC Ventures, Garage Angels, and 12Bullets. Localazy aims to eliminate language barriers for 1 billion people worldwide.
- Launched in 2020, Localazy provides easy l10n and i18n solutions for businesses of all sizes and global communities, including machine translation, multilingual marketing tools, and quality assurance services. Currently, the company operates in North and South America, Africa, Asia, and some European countries.
- Such brands as ROUVY and Scaleway, non-profit and social enterprise platforms like Plastic Bank, Donar Online, or CARE use Localazy platform. In 2020 Localazy have raised an investment from Lighthouse Ventures. Now, the company’s valuation is €4.5 million.
- The fresh investment was backed by local Czech innovation agency and incubator, JIC Ventures and Garage Angels, that focuses on entrepreneurs in the early stages.

said the company’s CEO, Vacláv Hodek.
- Localazy will use the investment to allocate the necessary resources to continuously upgrade its localization process, access new markets, and accelerate the global expansion plans.
