Polish satellite manufacturer Thorium Space has secured almost €900,000 (PLN 4 million) in financing from Smartlink Partners. This is the first investment for the fund co-created by Polish entrepreneurs, My Company Polska reports.
- Founded in 2017 by Paweł Rymaszewski, Thorium Space is a designer and builder of satellite telecommunications systems. The company develops microwave arrays using the AESA technology in the Ku, Ka, and E-Band radio bands. It also produces ready-made telecommunications modules for use in various LEO/MEO/GEO orbits.

- Smartlink Partners is a new venture capital fund co-founded by Polish entrepreneurs Bartlomiej Kurylak and Pawel Szydlowski. It aims to support SaaS, AI software, marketplace companies, operating in the industries of renewable energy, spacetech, and greentech.
- The fund focus on the development phases from seed, through growth, to round A, investing up to €2 million in such startups. Thorium Space is the first investment for the fund.
