Tallinn-based ticket sales company, Piletilevi Group, has acquired a majority stake in GoOut.net, the largest ticket sales platform in the Czech Republic. The amount of the deal has not disclosed.
- Piletilevi is the largest online ticket selling network in Estonia that provides event promoters ticket selling and marketing services. The company is owned by entrepreneur Sven Nuutmann’s investment company EastCom Capital and the private equity investment firm BaltCap.
- Recently, Piletilevi announced the acquisition of one of the largest Romanian ticketing platforms, Bilete.ro. The deal help to increase company’s volume of annually issued tickets to 15 million and the mediated ticket turnover to 210 million euros still this year.
- GoOut is an international digital startup launched in Prague in 2011 and is active in Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, and Germany. Via its platform clients can buy tickets to thousands of events including concerts, festivals, movie screenings, workshops, exhibitions. In 2017, GoOut reached the milestone of 1 million tickets sold.
- Piletilevi Group has acquired an 80% stake in GoOut.net. The acquisition will enable Piletilevi to expand into Poland, Slovakia and Germany, strengthen its position in the Baltics and to achieve a leading position as a ticket sales platform in Central Europe.
