PFR Ventures, part of the Polish Development Fund, has invested approximately €5 million in TiLT Capital Fund I, a Paris-based energy transition fund. This is the fifth investment under the PFR Green Hub FoF program.

  • PFR Green Hub is one of PFR’s strategic programs to support Poland’s energy transformation by investing in innovative climatetech projects. The program is managed by PFR Ventures, a Polish fund of funds, which joins the funds as a Limited Partner.
  • The investment in TiLT Capital Fund 1 was made together with Bpifrance, the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund. After the deal, TCF 1’s capitalization exceeded €250 million.
  • The fund intends to invest from €5 to €35 million in European companies in their growth phase. So far, TCF 1 completed the first 4 investments in France and Germany and is also planning to invest in Polish companies in the field of energy transformation.

“We are happy to welcome PFR as an investor in our first growth fund supporting Europe’s energy transformation. PFR’s share is of particular importance because Poland is an important market. Poland offers huge investment opportunities and we are happy to support the development of Polish companies creating innovations in the area of energy transformation,”

Nathanaël Krivine, co-founder and managing partner at TiLT Capital Partners, comments.
  • TiLT Capital is the fifth investment under the PFR Green Hub FoF program. In February 2023, PFR Ventures invested €55 million in another four green VCs. The current agreement with TiLT Capital Partners increases the total contribution to all funds under PFR Ventures FoF to approximately €60 million.
