Warsaw-based software startup Readycode has raised additional €400,000 in the latest round led by the ffVC Tech & Gaming fund. The new financing round will be used to further develop the game modding and scripting technology, MamStartup reports.
- Established in 2021 by Julek Kopczewski and Marcin Tchórzewski, ReadyCode is dedicated to creating a cutting-edge tool for game modding and scripting, equipped with hot reloading support. The tool introduces a user-friendly and easy-to-understand approach to games modability, enabling the creation of new assets, features, and maps.
- ReadyCode simplifies the process of creating user-generated content for modern games like Minecraft, Roblox, Skyrim, the Sims 4, the Witcher 3, and many others. Essentially, the tool allows to extend the user commitment to these games, enhancing replayability, which generates additional profit for many AA/AAA+ gaming studios and titles.
- ffVC Tech & Gaming fund provided the additional funding. It is a Warsaw-based gaming industry-dedicated fund focused on companies from Poland and the CEE region. It was created through a partnership between Totalizator Sportowy and ffVC, with strong participation by PFR Ventures and the NCBR.
- In October 2022, ReadyCode secured €310,000 from SpeedUp Bridge Alfa and OverWolf, who, as the time, joined the efforts to enable the startup to build its modding-as-a-service product and expand to the US market.
- The company will spend the fresh funds on further developing the technology, as well as attracting foreign clients such as high-caliber AAA+ game studios.
