BRAVE1
  • In late April 2023, BRAVE1 was established in Ukraine. The cluster was intended to become a singular window for cooperation between defense tech companies, the state, and the military, as well as investors, volunteer foundations, the media, and all those who help bring victory closer through technology.
  • Now, a little over three months after BRAVE1 was established, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov shared the first results of the cluster’s work.
  • According to him, since BRAVE1’s inception, 15 projects have already received funding totaling $225,000. Another 15 are in the process of signing contracts for another $235,000.

“These are revolutionary products that change the approach to warfare. Starting with EW-protected drones and remote-controlled robots, finishing with AI-based analysis platforms and systems for searching and identifying projectile mines,”

Fedorov noted.
  • The BRAVE1 platform brings together public and private initiatives to develop unique solutions for the Defence Forces of Ukraine. So far, 412 designs have been received, and 200 of them have passed the military examination.
