Vilnius-based professional event planning digital marketplace Breezit has raised $2 million in a fresh round of funding aimed at further development of the company. Practica Capital acted as the lead investor, FinSMEs informs.
- Founded in 2020 by Artūras Asakavičius and Aurelija Gintalienė, Breezit offers a platform that helps event organizers find venues and connect with vendors, musicians, photographers, helping them facilitate site tours and bookings. The company has an office in Los Angeles.
- Currently, the platform specializes on weddings, with every venue and vendor listing being individually vetted and fully transparent in terms of price and free to access. It boasts over 2,000 listings of venues, DJs, photographers, florists, and more across the U.S. and Lithuania.
- In July 2022, Breezit raised €100,000 in a pre-seed round from the Riga-based early-stage angel syndicate BADideas.fund.
- The company wants to use the funds to further develop the generative AI and machine-learning capabilities of its venue and vendor marketplace.
