tokitus has raised €125,000 in a pre-seed round from a Latvian network of private investors Venture Faculty, Delfi informed. The startup will use the investment to expand its platform for mental health to Europe and the UK.

  • Founded in Vilnius in 2020 by Ulvia Avidan, tokitus‘ platform offers 11 types of mental care therapy, such as psychoanalysis, gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and others. The sessions can be either individual or in a group. The therapists speak 15 languages.
  • The company’s technology can match clients with appropriate specialists for 5-10 minutes. tokitus also developed solutions for corporate employees. The group sessions are intended to manage work-related stress, build more effective interpersonal relationships at the company, and improve employees’s job performance.

  • The investment was fully led by Venture Faculty, Latvian hub, which helps to start a product or improve existing company processes. It was founded in 2019 by Zeev (Vladimir) Strutsovski and offers corporate services, legal support, venture, private equity investments, and startup consulting.
  • tokitus will use the investment to expand in the European and UK markets.
