CallPage was founded in 2015 by three Ukrainians: Ross Knap, Andriy Tkachiv, and Serhiy Butko, who moved from Ukraine to Poland at different times and for different reasons. The startup’s flagship product is a contact widget that allows to track and call back people visiting the company’s website within just 28 seconds of entering the website. It used by 1,500 companies in over 50 countries. Recently, CallPage announced the acquisition of LiveCall.

Tell us about your startup. How does it work?
We help to convert website traffic into sales calls. Our ecosystem of solutions increases sales and foster relationships between the company and its customers.
How did you come up with the startup’s idea? What was the reason/motivation behind it?
We realized that if you promised your customers that you would call back to them in less than 1 minute – your potential customers would want to contact you more often.
How long did it take to reach the prototype or MVP? What did you encounter?
We did a prototype in 3 months – a simple callback that just calls to one number. The prototype was realised by an external freelancer so it was hard to develop it further.
When exactly did you launch your product? Or when the launch is planned?
CallPage launched its first product in late 2015.
Tell us about the startup’s business model. How do you monetize your product?
We have typical SaaS pricing. The basic plan is possible to buy for $30 per month and then depending on the volume of calls and functionality usage we scale our pricing. We have customers who pay us more than $5,000 per month.
What are your target markets and consumers?
Our main consumers are SME companies mostly from the US, Canada, the UK, and the EU. We cooperate with InPost, Docplanner, OLX, Rankomat, Medicover, UPC (currently Play), Vectra, and others.
If the startup has already launched the product, what are the results: metrics, income, or any clear indicators that can be evaluated.
In 2022, we were acquired by SaaS Labs. We passed the typical startup road from pre-seed through investment rounds to exit.
Now, we part of the SaaS Labs group which has more than 7,000 customers around the world with prominent investors on board like Sequoya, Base10 ventures, and others.
What about your team? How many people are working in the startup? If you’re looking for new employees, indicate whom exactly.
Right now in CallPage, we have more than 30 people in our team. In general, in SaaS Labs, there are 350 employees across the globe.
Have you already raised any investments? Provide us with more details on each funding round: the amount, investors, the purpose of the investment.
In total, we raised around €4.3 million. Currently, we are part of SaaS Labs which in total raised about €50 million.
Recently, we acquired LiveCall, Polish largest local competitor. As a result of the deal, we received the rights to the LiveCall brand and domain, as well as a database of several hundred customers, including Booksy, Seat, Itaka, and Tui Poland.

All founding members are very professional managers, so our goals are very ambitious. We want to build the best lead-generation solution for SMEs in the world and scale it across the SaaS Labs customer portfolio.
