One of the main players on the Polish e-commerce market IAI Group has acquired a majority stake in AtomStore, an e-commerce platform for large and medium-sized sellers, MamStartup reports. The deal agreement also accounts for purchase of the remaining shares within a few years.

  • IAI Group is one of the leaders in Polish e-commerce that has been on the market since 2000. The company is developing online sales services offered on the basis of application rental, like the e-commerce management system IdoSell and reservation system and channel manager IdoBooking.
  • AtomStore is an e-commerce platform for large and medium-sized online stores that allows them to flexibly manage your offer and quickly scale sales. The system operates in the SaaS Enterprise model and is dedicated to each business model – B2C, B2B, and omnichannel.

“We are strengthening the group’s position on the competitive market by including AtomStore. This is a great and well-managed team that achieves success, especially in the area of servicing large clients. AtomStore is a perfect piece of the puzzle that fits our strategy and values,”

Michał Paschalis-Jakubowicz, CEO of IAI Group, commented.
  • The deal was supervised by Filip Berkowski on behalf of MCI Capital, which owns 51% of IAI shares. Following the deal, AtomStore will continue to operate within the IAI Group as an independent entity, retaining its unique character and offer, as well as its own brand.
  • The amount of the deal is undisclosed, however it will result in an increase in the Group’s GMV by about €462 million (PLN 2 billion), which will aid with strengthening its leading position on the market.
