We’re thrilled about WEG’s investment in our fund and are looking forward to fruitful collaborations. With the WEG team’s invaluable expertise and extensive networks in CEE, we anticipate exciting investment opportunities that will help propel the electrification and decarbonization of the energy landscape,

Felix Krause, Partner at Vireo Ventures, commented on the fresh investment.
  • WEG is an independent Warsaw-based private equity firm focused on market investments of up to €10 million, targeting companies offering innovative B2B solutions in the high-tech/Industry 4.0 and cleantech space. The company claims that Vireo’s investment thesis aligns well with its own focus on climate tech solutions.

The investment also marks WEG’s final investment in a VC fund. In November 2023, the firm announced its joint exit with TS Ventures from Piwik PRO, a Wroclaw-based web analytics company. Now, the company aims to strengthen the existing relationships.
