Full Speed Ventures has invested in 4Semantics, a Białystok-based intelligent document processing (IDP) company. With this support, 4Semantics will accelerate its international growth in the financial sector and beyond.
- 4Semantics was founded in 2018 by Tomasz Rzezniczak. It specializes in building productivity products based on cognitive automation and natural language understanding technologies. Its main product is The Cognitive Hand, plug & play software. According to the company, it relieves the user and saves up to 1 hour of office work per day.
- Other products, including SensID Cognitive Automation, allows to build document understanding models for any business purpose and save time on repetitive document handling tasks.
- The fresh investment was provided by Full Speed Ventures and led by Wojciech Fedorowicz, co-founder and managing partner of the fund. In February 2024, Full Speed Ventures announced the launch of its second, €50 million technology fund. The fund aims to support tech startups with initial ticket size of €1-2 million.
Since our 1st meeting with Tomasz Rzezniczak, the founder of 4Semantics, I really liked his grand vision. But after we took a look “under the hood” and assessed the tech, we knew, that this is “THE” company, to disrupt the financial industry. IDP is not new, but with the current wave of tech advancements the cards are dealt anew. And 4Semantics is well positioned to lead the pack (with modest Full Speed Ventures support),
Wojciech Fedorowicz, commented on the fresh deal.
Companies didn’t disclose the investment amount, but it will allow 4Semantics to rapidly increase its operational activities and further improve its AI-based SensID platform.
