SprayVision, an Ostrava-based startup specializing in process control and simulation of paint coating operations, has received €2 million in a Series A round led by Momenta, with participation from J&T Ventures. This funding will be used for the company’s global expansion.
About SprayVision
- Founded in 2018 by Giovanni Sala and Petr Jahn, SprayVision is focused on spray pattern digitalization, analysis, evaluation, process control and non contact thickness measurement. The startup claims its technology enables to reduce time, scrap, paint waste, and emissions.
- The solutions also aims to help customers transform manual processes into digital ones and advance automation setups where human-robot collaboration is incorporated into fully autonomous operations.
Investment details
- The fresh funding round was led by Digital Industry Fund IV (Industry 5.0), a 2023 vintage early-stage venture capital fund managed by Momenta Ventures, located in Lucerne, Switzerland. It invests in the United States, Canada, and Europe and targets companies from information technology, energy, advanced manufacturing, and B2B payments sectors.

- SprayVision is the fourth company to secure investment from Momenta’s Digital Industry Fund IV. J&T Ventures, an early-stage Prague-based venture capital fund, also participated in the funding round.
