Latvian investment services startup Mintos has announced the result of its crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, where the company has raised €3.1 million in just 14 days. Over 3,300 investors from more than 55 countries has joined the campaign, Labs of Latvia reports.
- Founded in 2015 by Martins Sulte and Martins Valters, the Riga-based company Mintos is one of the largest investment platforms in Europe offering long-term investors a tool for growing their money with a mix of alternative and traditional investments.
- Through the platform retail investors can invest in a diversified way in income-producing assets to build wealth in the long term. In addition, Mintos implements environmental, social, and employee matters, respect for human rights, anti‐corruption, and anti‐bribery matters within their remuneration policy practices and other internal company documents.
- Mintos claims the campaign to be the second largest Crowdcube campaign in the EU so far this year. The minimum raising goal of €1 million was reached in the first 40 minutes of the launch.
“We are thrilled with the incredible response to our crowdfunding campaign. The rapid success of the campaign underscores the strong confidence and support of our investors in Mintos’ vision and growth potential,” Martins Sulte, CEO and Co-Founder of Mintos, commented.
- The current results adds onto the company's previous record in crowdfunding: in 2020, Mintos managed raised €6.5 million from 6100 investors.
The fresh capital will be used to support Mintos' expansion into new markets, for improving the platform, and for the introduction of new products.
