Ukrainain FPV drone manufacturer Odd Systems has launched Kurbas-256 thermal imaging cameras. They have improved quality and cost $150 when buying over 5,000 units. The founder of the company, Yaroslav Azhnuyuk, announced this on his Facebook page.
According to the entrepreneur, the developers studied the actual combat experience, took into account the wishes of FPV operators, and created a "Ukrainian product with full control of hardware and low-level software".
Here are the advantages of the new thermal camera listed by the founder
- It provides high quality images;
- Contrast and brightness adjustment in flight;
- No condensation in winter due to hermetic installation;
- "Curtain" control with zero lagging;
- Pseudo-color mode.
The price of Kurbas-256 varies from $250 to $150, depending on the number of cameras purchased.
"Once again - FPV thermal cameras for $150 each! That work better than the ones currently in use. At half the price. And made in Ukraine. I am very proud of the team that made it," writes the entrepreneur.
