About LAM’ON

  • LAM'ON, founded in 2018, produces bio-based thermal laminating films and packaging foils as sustainable alternatives to traditional plastic.

  • The company offers high-quality products with less environmental impact, catering to industries like fresh produce, cosmetics, fashion, and logistics.

  • LAM'ON offers three eco-friendly products: LAM'ON, a compostable thermal laminating film, PACK'ON Classic, a clear, eco-conscious packaging foil, and PACK'ON Shrink, a sustainable shrink wrap.

Deal details

  • Eleven Ventures, a Sofia-based venture capital firm, supported the funding round. It’s investments typically range from €250,000 to €1 million, with potential for follow-on funding up to €2.5 million.

  • The round was joined by Grigoriy Ananiev, Managing Director at Citibank.

"Six years of R&D and smart chemistry, they've cracked it. Their compostable films are giving brands exactly what they need to meet EU packaging regulations. The best part? The quality matches traditional plastic, so no compromises needed," Eleven Venture's team commented on LinkedIn.

This financing will help LAM'ON grow exposure, sales, and client acquisition in Europe's food, drink, fashion, home goods, and electronics packaging areas.
