Over €600,000 for Baltic startups. TechChill 2025: results and winners

During this year's TechChill conference held in Riga, Latvia several Baltic startups were awarded over €600,000 in prize capital. AIN shares the key highlights of the winners.

Fifty Founders Battle winner and biggest investment

Out of 167 applicants this year, 50 semi-finalists were chosen to pitch their ideas. And the top 10 startups made it to the finals.

  • Adsmom, a B2B SaaS platform that mines global ad libraries to drive better ad performance, won a €10,000 TechChill community prize, a 6-month Startup House Riga membership, and Bourzma merchandise. 

  • THEO Growth, a Context-Powered AI Assistant for startups, was awarded €250,000 investment by BADideas.fund. FIRSTPICK joined the round with a further €100,000 investment.

Additional prizes

Several companies have also received significant capital boosts

  • Adsmom and Tournated secured €50,000 investments from LatBAN;

  • Protium Tech received €60,000 from the Beamline Accelerator. Protium Tech, along with Submerge Baltic and MoonHealth, also earned scholarships to Draper University in Silicon Valley. 

  • Submerge Baltic further benefited from free EIC grant writing support from GSF Innovations.

  • Box Box gained fast-track access to Traction Builder 2.0, a B2B accelerator program partnered with Snap Inc.

“One of the criteria for the winners was pitch presentation, and unanimously the Adsmom team stood out. We instantly understood their product, they have great traction, it was an easy decision. GalTec was our runner up, they’re tapping into a market in which, if they succeed, it will be revolutionary,” said Arta Beitāne, Partner at Buildit and one of the jury members.

This year, TechChill attracted over 2,000 attendees, including more than 100 venture capital funds and over 280 individual investors. The Fifty Founders Battle at TechChill was open to startups from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
