American company CourtAvenue, a member of the Inc. 5000 ranking, has acquired a majority stake in Ukrainian company BotsCrew, which specializes in developing custom chatbots for businesses. The deal was announced to AIN by BotsCrew founders Maxim Gladysh, Nazar Gembara and Oleg Pylypchak.
- According to the deal, the top management and the entire BotsCrew team will continue to work in Ukraine, and the company plans to expand in 2025. BotsCrew currently employs 60 people.
- Negotiations for the acquisition have been ongoing since May 2024. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
- BotsCrew has been operating in the artificial intelligence market since 2016 and counts companies such as Virgin Holidays, Honda, Mars and FIBA among its clients.
- The Ukrainian company specializes in developing solutions for healthcare, e-commerce, tourism, public administration, and business process automation.
CourtAvenue, on the other hand, focuses on digital business transformation and the development of AI solutions. Over the past three years, CourtAvenue has grown 4000% and is ranked among the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Its customers include Kia, Epson, Dell and the US Air Force.
As a reminder, TA Ventures, a Ukrainian venture capital fund, together with angel syndicate ICLUB, invested $4 million in New York-based healthcare startup Berry Street.
