Rockstar Games has a long history of skipping PC versions of its flagship games. Western media speculate that this will also be the case with the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. At least, we're now getting the early rumors regarding the release of the next installment of the popular franchise.
Ronald van Wyn, vice president of finance at PC accessories company Corsair Gaming, said at a quarterly financial meeting that GTA 6 could get its official release on PC in early 2026, a few months after the release on consoles. This was reported by VGC.
As a reminder, in Take-Two's Q4 2024 earnings report, the company finally announced the release date of the next installment of the GTA series. Previously, the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 was planned for 2025, but now we have a more specific data. The game wil launch in fall 2025.
Grand Theft Auto VI is an upcoming action-adventure video game, which is the eighth main installment in the Grand Theft Auto series after Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and the sixteenth in total.
