The German manufacturer of robotic systems ARX Robotics has opened a new office in Ukraine and joined Diia.City, a special legal regime for the IT industry in the country. This is stated in the message of Diia.City.
The company, which develops autonomous unmanned ground systems and digital solutions for military and commercial applications, also plans to transfer part of its production and development processes to Ukraine.
ARX Robotics has developed 12 different types of robotic systems. One of the company's best-known products is the GEREON RCS multi-purpose modular tracked platform. It is designed to deliver food and ammunition to the front lines and evacuate the wounded, helping to save the lives of soldiers in the combat zone.

The GEREON RCS is already in use by the armies of Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, as well as NATO missions in Lithuania and Slovakia. In February, 30 units of this equipment were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Last year, the German company ARX Robotics received funding from NATO to develop unmanned robots.
