Google is removing its Gemini AI from its search app for iOS users, forcing them to download a separate app to access its AI, 9to5Google reports.
On iPhone and iPad, the Google app was one of the first places to access Gemini. On the main page at the top, users were offered to choose either search or artificial intelligence. Now, when you click on Gemini, Google offers to download a separate app that launched for iOS in November.

From time to time, new features appeared on the app, for example, Gemini Live or "memory". For this reason, the company encourages iOS device owners to download Gemini separately.
In early February, Google launched Gemini 2.0 Pro Experimental, the long-awaited new flagship AI model, and added its "reasoning" model to the Gemini app.
