Ukrainian startup EYA receives $10,000 grant from WinWin Deep Tech Accelerator

Ukrainian startup EYA has received a $10,000 grant as the winned of the WinWin Deep Tech Accelerator to develop its artificial intelligence application, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announces. The solution helps children with speech disorders communicate using eye-tracking technology.

The funding will allow the team to expand its device testing base to adapt the app to different devices and hire a new developer.

The WinWin Deep Tech Accelerator brought together a total of eight Ukrainian deep tech teams who spent three months learning from mentors from Reface, MacPaw, Skylum, Juscutum and other leading companies. The participants worked on market analysis, partner engagement and business model development.

In addition to EYA, the following companies presented their solutions

  • Tayra.AI, an AI assistant for doctors that helps with medical records. 
  • Oh My Perfect Form, a fitness app that uses a smartphone camera to assess the correctness of exercises.
  • JobAtlas, a personalized career planning tool.
  • Request, an AI assistant for monitoring employee burnout.
  • Achief, an app for creating personalized nutrition plans.
  • SPEROW, a digital ecosystem for farmers.
  • Ultra-Botics, an AI solution for detecting defects in metal products, such as railroad tracks, large weapons, etc. 

As a result of the accelerator, the startups were able to attract new users, find partners, receive funding, and begin to enter international markets.
