The Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine has created a single brand for the Ukrainian defense industry - ZBROYA. As the Ministry explained to AIN, this step is aimed at identifying the defense industry and all weapons produced in Ukraine under one quality brand that will be known worldwide.
According to presidential aide on strategic issues Oleksandr Kamyshyn, the brand should become a symbol of the Ukrainian defense industry and be recognized worldwide in the same way as the words "Armed Forces of Ukraine", "Ukrzaliznytsia" or "Palianytsia".
Who is this project for?
- Manufacturers: The ZBROYA brand will unite state and private enterprises involved in the production of Ukrainian weapons.
- The military: These weapons are created for them, so they are the main users and experts.
- Society: Ukrainians can be proud that their country produces modern and high quality weapons.
- Foreign partners: The ZBROYA brand should become a guarantee of quality and reliability for countries interested in cooperation with Ukraine in the defense sector.
Currently, the Ukrainian defense ecosystem includes 800 manufacturers and over 1000 teams working on innovative solutions. It unites the Armed Forces, state and private enterprises, educational and research institutions and voluntary foundations.
The ZBROYA brand has been given the slogan "Smart Force".
