Videobot, a Finnish SaaS startup that enables scalable customer engagement through interactive video, has secured €2.8 million in a fresh funding round led by Volta Ventures. Expon Capital and Superhero Capital also participated in the round, bringing the startup’s total funding to €5.5 million.

According to the company, its clients have witnessed a 98% increase in engagement, 150% more time spent on the website, and a 36% increase in overall sales lead volume.
“Revenue-wise, our aim is to 4x. On the product side, we’re bringing some super interesting AI elements, becoming an even more omnichannel solution that covers a large part of micro-moments enterprises have with their clients, and enhancing our data and analytics capabilities,” said Matias Mäenpää, CEO, Enterprise Sales of Videobot.

The round was led by Volta Ventures, with participation from Expon Capital and Superhero Capital, bringing total funding to €5.5 million.

Superhero Capital is a Helsinki-based venture capital fund investing up to €1 million of initial capital in early-stage software startups across Finland and the Baltics. Previously this year Superhero Capital launched its fourth fund with a target of €50 million.

Expon Capital is a Luxembourg venture capital firm which invests in seed to early-stage companies in Software, AI, and FinTech industries, focusing on Europe with key locations in Luxembourg, Paris, and London.
The investment will accelerate the growth of its Video Experience (VX) platform, which enhances videos with interactive elements like branching, navigation, custom buttons, forms, and calls to action.
The deal is the second major round for the startup. In August 2023, Videobot secured €2 million in a seed funding round, which was also backed by Superhero Capital and Expon Capital.
