Sigma Software Group acquires American IT consulting firm A Society Group

Swedish-Ukrainian company Sigma Software Group has announced the acquisition of North Carolina-based IT and engineering consulting firm A Society Group, Inc. Sigma Software told the details to AIN.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed, however, Bohdan Svyrydov, investment director of Horizon Capital and u.ventures, noted in a comment to AIN that it could be valued at up to $10 million with a large portion of the payment being made through Sigma Software Group shares.

  • A Society Group, Inc., which was previously a subsidiary of Sweden-based A Society, serves major clients in the automotive, manufacturing, defense and other industries. 

"The acquisition of A Society Group, Inc. is an important milestone in the execution of Sigma Software's strategy and strengthens its ability to meet the growing needs of companies seeking both local and global expertise," said Sigma Software Group. 

  • Philip Rosander, CEO of A Society Group, Inc., believes that the deal will allow Sigma Software Group to leverage A Society Group's deep technical expertise, innovative solutions and global talent network.
  • Both Sigma Software Group and A Society are part of the Danir Group, a global organization with 10,000 employees. 
  • With this acquisition, Sigma Software Group aims to strengthen its presence in the United States and expand its ability to support enterprise customers by leveraging both local and global resources.

In 2024, Intellias acquired 100% shares in C2 Solutions, a Bloomington-based tech services company.
