Slovak psychological care platform ksebe has acquired the Czech platform Terap.io. Together they are creating Terapio by ksebe – a new solution for affordable psychological care in the Czech Republic, Startup Kitchen reports.
Acquisition details
Although the exact amount of the deal is undisclosed, the acquisition is an exit for MITON, a Czech venture capital fund.
In 2020, Terap.io secured €1.2 million from MITON in its pre-seed funding round, as stated by Crunchbase.

About their joint platform, Terapio
Both companies are combining their projects to create Terapio, which, according to the companies, offers a new standard in psychological care in the Czech Republic.

Terapio by ksebe enhances mental health care with in-person therapy sessions, including individual and couples counseling.

The companies help provide employees psychological support without bureaucratic hurdles, while trial sessions offer a no-obligation way to explore therapy.
