Netflix has finally announced the release date for the sequel to its popular series Love, Death + Robots - the fourth season will be released on May 15. It also showed a one-minute teaser featuring gladiator dinosaurs, messianic cats, and rock stars on ropes.

Season 4 will consist of ten different episodes, each with its own story and unique style. Each story is told by world-known directors like Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Fate) and David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club), Season 4 also brings back Jennifer Y. Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2) as executive director.

Since premiering in 2019, the series has won 13 Emmy Awards out of 15 nominations. Most recently, it was nominated three times in a row for Best Animated Short Program, a category in which the first two seasons won.

For an episode in Season 3 titled Jibaro, the Academy Award-winning director Alberto Mielgo received a Special Emmy Jury Award for Best Individual Achievement in Animation. The same episode featured Ukrainian-born actress Alina Smolyar, who portrayed the iconic Siren.
