ROPEA, Romanian private equity and venture capital association, has elected a new board of directors for a two-year mandate, to continue ROPEA’s mission of promoting the private equity and venture capital industry in Romania. The company shared news on their Linkedin page.

Newly elected Board

Chairman: Andrei Gemeneanu, Managing Partner at Morphosis Capital.

“It is a great honour to become the President of ROPEA and build on the great legacy of Horia Manda. My firm belief is that private equity fosters entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship fosters progress. It is with this in mind that I start the new journey and I look forward to contributing in my own small way to the development of the PE & VC ecosystem,” said Andrei Gemeneanu, Managing Partner at Morphosis Capital and newly elected ROPEA Chairman.
