Spanish company Tecnove will produce Ukrainian armored vehicles Kozak and Djura
The Spanish company Tecnove, located in Herencia, Ciudad Real Province, has signed an agreement with the Ukrainian manufacturer Practika for the production of armored vehicles in its facilities. The deal covers two models, in particular Kozak and Djura, which have already passed a combat test in Ukraine.
According to the agreement, Tecnove will produce armored vehicles in three main configurations: an armored ambulance, a personnel carrier, and a vehicle for special forces.
- Djura is a versatile armored vehicle designed to perform tasks in difficult conditions, with the ability to be modularly configured for a specific mission.
- Kozak is a more protected and mobile vehicle designed for tactical operations, including evacuation of the wounded and transportation of military personnel. A variant of the model, the Kozak-5, is already in service in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Spanish military publication Infodefensa, the announcement of the launch of armored vehicles with a Ukrainian partner came amid growing demand for military equipment in the world.
Since the beginning of 2025, three Spanish companies have already announced the launch of projects to produce armored vehicles. Among them are EM&E Group, which signed an agreement with the Emirati Nimr in February, and Indra, which created a subsidiary Land Vehicles in March.
