The remake, or remaster, of the beloved game The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion has been expected for many years, and new rumors about it have been actively spreading in recent weeks. Recently, inquisitive Reddit users found a series of images that developers can use when announcing the game.

The screenshots compare the new version of Oblivion with the original from Bethesda in 2006. Therefore, it is likely that fans will get a remake or remaster.

The leak occurred on April 14 on the Virtuos website: for a short time, anyone could access various screenshots and logos. Although this access was promptly closed, the Internet remembers everything - numerous copies of the materials soon appeared.

According to Eurogamer, developer Bethesda's current plan is to unexpectedly release the game next week on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, including through Xbox Game Pass. The publication also confirmed that these photos were on Virtuos.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games. It is the fourth installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (2002), and was released in 2006 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360, and in 2007 for PlayStation 3.
