Ukrainian SID Venture Partners invests in GO TO-U, a startup that develops an OS for electric vehicle charging stations
SID Venture Partners has announced an investment in GO TO-U, a Ukrainian-American startup that creates an operating system for managing electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The fund shared the details with AIN.
About GO TO-U
- GO TO-U offers a hardware-independent operating system with support for white-label, API integrations, roaming, AI-based analytics (Omni Analytics), and integration with payment systems. The solutions are adapted for different segments - from gas stations and shopping malls to car fleets and hospitality.

GO TO-U is headquartered in Los Angeles (USA), and the platform itself provides access to more than 950,000 charging stations in 67 countries.

As noted by Nazar Shimone-Davida, co-founder and CEO of the project, GO TO-U allows operators to increase the efficiency and profitability of infrastructure, and drivers to plan charging thanks to a unique reservation technology.
Investment details
- The amount and terms of the round were not disclosed, but it is known that the total amount of the fund's investment exceeded $6 million.
According to Dmytro Vartanian, Managing Partner at SID Venture Partners, GO TO-U is an example of how Ukrainian entrepreneurs can successfully develop technology products in the US market:

The startup's previous investors include the international group ABB, a number of well-known business angels, and Siemens, which has included the company in the EV Charging Solutions ecosystem in the United States.
According to analysts, the global electric vehicle charging market will reach $155 billion by 2030, and in 2023, sales of electric cars grew by 38% to 8.3 million units.
