Ukrainian Augmented Pixels, which works on augmented reality technologies, has attracted investments from the ICU group, as announced on the investment group’s website.
- The amount of the investment is not disclosed, however, the company’s founder, Vitaliy Goncharuk, told AIN.UA that the deal is structured as a convertible note (a form of short-term debt that converts into equity).
- The money raised in the company is going to be spent on the further development of products and hiring people. According to Goncharuk, the company plans to recruit 15-20 high-class professionals in the Kyiv and Odesa offices. Mostly they will be developers and the sales team.
- Augmented Pixels is a Ukrainian startup in the field of augmented reality, which was formerly called AR23D. Vitaliy Goncharuk founded the company in Odesa in 2010. It attracted only about $5 million in investments.
