Game publisher TinyBuild has invested $3 million in Lviv-based game studio Hologryph, known for the game Secret Neighbor. According to VentureBeat, this deal will give the publisher a majority stake in the company.
Hologryph studio is based in Lviv, and it has 11 employees. The main project of the studio is a multiplayer game, Secret Neighbor, set in the Hello Neighbor universe. The plot of the game tells the story of a group of kids trying to sneak into the house of their creepy neighbor.
As Maksym Khrapai, CEO of Hologryph, told AIN.UA, the team offered the publisher to support the development of a multiplayer game. TinyBuild liked the idea but suggested to change the characters to a neighbor and kids from the game Hello Neighbor to develop this franchise. The point is that, in the summer of 2020, TinyBuild acquired Dynamic Pixels, a studio that developed Hello Neighbor.
The funds raised will go toward supporting and developing Secret Neighbor, as well as the development of a new multiplayer game for PC, new-generation consoles PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
