Polish-founded startup Proofs has raised $2.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Earlybird Venture Capital, with participation from Expeditions Fund, Step Function Ventures, RTP Global, and business angels. This investment will accelerate its product development and expand the team, EU-Startups reports.

About Proofs

  • Co-founded by Polish entrepreneurs Bartek Pucek and Zbigniew Sobiecki, Proofs develops software that allows companies with APIs to use AI agents to build proof-of-concept apps in minutes, tailored to their prospects’ needs. The startup claims, it reduces the time to build apps from months to minutes, lowers costs, and allows companies to serve more prospects with higher conversion rates.
  • With offices in San Francisco and Warsaw, the Proofs team is currently made up of a team of veteran software engineers and AI researchers.

Investment details

  • The fresh round was led by Earlybird Venture Capital, a VC focusing on European technology early-stage companies, providing financial resources, strategic support, and access to an international network & capital markets. Earlybird invests out of a family of independently-managed funds. Flagship funds with early-stage focus include Digital West, Digital East, and Health.
  • The Warsaw-based VC firm Expeditions FundStep Function Ventures, a venture capital firm that funds European and American tech startups, and the London-based VC firm RTP Global, also joined the investment.
  • The list of angel investors who participated in the round includes Robin Haak, Jens Lapinski, Tomasz Karwatka, Piotr Karwatka, and Nick Davidov.

Proofs will spend the funding on product development, hiring new talent and preparing the GTM with a focus on mid-market, and enterprise customers in the US.
