Finnish project development and management platform Builderhead has secured a new funding round. The investment includes continued backing from existing investors and the addition of new partners, including Korpun Siemen, Digital Heart Capital II (Sofokus Ventures) and Sueno Digital (Teemu Jokinen). The company shared on their website.

About Builderhead

  • Builderhead is a Finnish software company founded in 2018. It develops a cutting-edge project development and management platform for real estate owners and developers.

  • The company combines deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology to elevate collaboration in construction projects and make the best operating models accessible to everyone, according to the company’s website.

“We’re excited to have the support from our existing investors as we welcome new ones. Alongside the new funding, we are on track to reach break-even soon, which will provide a solid foundation for our upcoming growth plans,” says Julius Tuomikoski, Builderhead Co-Founder and Chairman.

Investment details

The fresh round was joined by existing investors, but it also saw participation from a plethora of new investors, like:

  • Korpun Siemen is a joint investment company of private entrepreneurs, family-owned companies and investors, co-investing in Finnish pre-seed & seed companies. The firm usually invests from €50,000 to €200,000.

  • Digital Heart Capital II (Sofokus Ventures) is a capital and digital competence based investment instrument focusing on product-led early-stage digital startups that operate customer-driven or ecosystem-driven businesses.

  • Teemu Jokinen is an experienced founder, board member, advisor, and investor, actively involved in over 20 early-stage companies as an angel and pre-seed investor. He specializes in venture building, business development, growth, digital marketing, and results-driven marketing and sales strategies.

Although the exact amount of the deal is undisclosed, Builderhead’s latest seed round was in January 2022 and managed to raise a little over €850,000 from Superhero Capital and Ali Omar, as stated by Crunchbase. So, the current deal is likely in the millions.

With this latest round of funding, Builderhead is well-positioned to open international markets and continue innovating in the project management space for real estate developers and owners. Its first international customer deals have already been closed in the UK and France.
