Cyber Upgrade raises €2.5M to further develop its AI-driven “Copilot”

Lithuania AI-driven cybersecurity solutions provider Cyber Upgrade has raised €2.5 million in a seed funding round to further develop its AI-driven “Copilot”. The round was backed by Superhero Capital, Specialist VC, FIRSTPICK, NGL Ventures, and angel investors. The company shared the details with AIN.

Cyber Upgrade's pipeline product is the AI-driven cybersecurity “Copilot” — an automated system that guides teams through the entire cyber audit process using team communication workflows, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Offered as a subscription service, the tool aims to make high-level cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes, potentially offloading 95% tasks from teams.

Cyber Upgrade’s seed funding round was backed by Superhero Capital, Specialist VC, FIRSTPICK, NGL Ventures, and angel investors Marios S. Kalochoritis and Sergei Anikin, ex-CEO of PipeDrive.

Superhero Capital is a Helsinki-based venture capital fund investing up to €1 million of initial capital in early-stage software startups across Finland and the Baltics.
FIRSTPICK is a €20 million high-speed venture capital fund and an accelerator for tech startups in the Baltics. The fund mainly invests in pre-seed fintech, SaaS, deeptech, and consumer marketplace startups. FIRSTPICK's portfolio startups receive precious early market access, impactful partnerships, and deep expertise in the early stage.
Specialist VC is a Tallinn-based early-stage investor focusing on the Baltic and Nordic regions. The firm invests from pre-seed to Series A stages and engages in secondary transactions post-Series A, with typical first investments ranging between €300,000 and €1 million.

This investment marks the company’s second funding secured this year, following a pre-seed round of €650,000 secured in February 2024.
