Jutro Medical has secured more than $1.6 million. Business angels syndicate led by Warsaw-based VC fund Kogito Ventures participated in the round. German fund Rheingau Founders, as well as Polish ones Inovo Venture Partners and Market One Capital also supported the startup after the investment round, MamStartup reports.

Founded in 2019 by CEO Adam Janczewski, Jutro Medical develops telemedicine and modern primary healthcare centers. It designs the app that enables using such health services as remote consultations with doctors via chats, video calls, and online access to the prescriptions, lab results and sick leaves. Patients can also book in-person appointments in a clinic, located in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district. All services provided by Jutro Medical are free o charge, as they are covered by the Polish National Health Fund insurances.

“We are still in the early stages, but we can see that our approach is effective now, during the coronavirus pandemic. On the one hand, patients prefer to contact with doctors remotely. On the other hand, the healthcare system was put to a severe test. Jutro Medical can help in both cases. We want to prove that every patient can receive medical care at the highest level thanks to technology,” Janczewski noted.

Jutro Medical will use the raised capital to build the clinic of the future in Poland, which will serve patients 24/7 through the Polish National Health Fund.
